摘　　要：20世纪90年代以来,东亚经济蓬勃发展,但经济一体化进程缓慢。由于东亚各国多边经贸发展迅速,经济的互补性和依赖性进一步加强,所以东亚自由贸易区构建是必要的可行的,推动东亚自由贸易区建设要力争自由贸易区的利益最大化、成本最小化、须符合世贸组织规则,具备合适的广度和深度。可以考虑东盟分别与中日韩合作,与东盟自由贸易区合二为一等,建立东亚自由贸易区的具体途径。East Asian economy has been booming since 1990s, but economic integration process is lagging behind. The paper discusses feasibilities and negative factors in forming East Asian Free Trade Area. And the paper makes proposals on policy issues, maximum the profit, minimum the cost. It also includes the suggestion that the East Union should become one with the Free Trade Area, establish the coopenation in the field of energy, agriculture and finance.
