温度对B_4C-AlB_(12)-YAG复合材料烧结行为的影响

摘  要:以Y2O3、Al2O3和AlB12为烧结助剂,在真空碳管炉中、氩气保护条件下,升温烧结制备B4C陶瓷。利用XRD和SEM对其物相组成和显微结构进行表征,研究了温度变化对材料质量损失率和体积收缩率的影响。结果表明,1400℃烧结试样中Y3Al5O12(YAG)已经大量形成,并随温度的升高逐渐减少,1700℃时完全消失;AlB12的加入能够降低Y3Al5O12的形成温度,有利于形成液相,促进材料的致密化。随烧结温度的提高,材料的质量损失率迅速增加,材料的体积收缩率逐渐加大;1700℃时,含Al氧化物的大量损失,是材料出现质量损失的主要原因。Through heating- up sintering B4C ceramic was prepared with Y2O3 ,Al2O3 and AlB12 as sintering assistant in vacuum carbon tube furnace under argon shield. The phase composition and microstructure of samples were characterized by XRD and SEM. The effects of temperature variation on mass loss rates and bulk shrinkage of materials were researched. The results show that at 1400℃ a large number of Y3Al5O12(YAG) has been yielded,then amount of Y3A15O12 decreases little by little with temperature increasing, and finally Y3Al5O12 disappears at 1700℃ ;Adding AlB12 can cut down formation temperature of Y3Al5O12, is favor of forming liquid phase and can improve densification of materials. The mass loss ratio of materials increases rapidly and bulk shrinkage increases gradually with sintering temperature increasing; the mass loss of materials mainly results from Al2O3 volatilizing thoroughly at 1700℃.
