摘　　要：分析国际书刊交换中存在的问题与不足，就如何加强该项工作提出建议，包括建立“中国国际书刊交换中心”Abstract On the basis of dating back the history of international exchange of books and periodicals, the authors summarize its problems and shortcomings in China, and give some suggestions for strengthening the work and accelerating the Chinese document resources building. A tentative idea of establishing a center for international exchange of books and periodicals is put forward.
