摘 要:糖尿病和骨质疏松症的发病率在世界范围内普遍升高。骨质疏松症的原因是多种多样的。1型和2型糖尿病发生骨质疏松的原因也不尽相同。无论是1型还是2型糖尿病,都易导致脆性骨折的发生。尤其在老年2型糖尿病人群中,髋部骨折的发生率最高。使用PPARγ激动剂治疗2型糖尿病亦会增加骨折的风险。笔者将从糖尿病引起骨质疏松及骨折的原因及病理生理机制等方面进行阐述。Diabetes and osteoporosis are both diseases of epidemic proportions whose incidence is increasing worldwide. The etiology of osteoporosis is multifactorial and may differ for type 1(T1DM) as compared to type 2 (T2DM). Fragility fractures are common to both types of diabetes with hip fractures occurring more frequently in the elderly T2DM population. The use of oral PPARγ agonists in the treatment of T2DM has also added to the risk of fracture. This perspective discusses the etiologies and issues relating to the association of diabetes with osteoporosis and fractures and suggests some theories to clarify the underlying pathophysiology.
