摘　　要：中东铁路是松花江流域最早的一条铁路,堪称世界上最长的一条森林铁路。中东铁路的建成通车,一方面,使松花江流域森林资源的开发利用开始有了显著的进步,木材的采伐、运输逐渐走上正轨,木材市场和林产加工的兴起促进了森林工业的发展;另一方面,过度的采伐导致了森林资源的大幅度削减,进而对生态环境造成了破坏。The Middle East railway is the first of a railway in the Songhua River Basin,which can be called the longest forest railway all over world. On the one hand, the establishment of the Middle East Railway helps the Songhua River basin＇s development and utilization of forest resources,makes timber harvesting and transportation go gradually on the right track. The rising of wood processing and forest products promotes the development of forest industry. On the other hand,excessive harvesting of forest resources led to a substantial reduction, and thus caused damage to the ecological environment.
