摘 要:1990年代以来文化研究在中国的兴起不仅仅是西方理论的又一次"中国旅行",而是有着具体的本土文化语境。中国上个世纪90年代以来商品化、世俗化的社会现实与大众文化迅速崛起是其兴起的社会现实基础;当代文学批评和文学创作的困境,以及走出这种困境的焦虑,是文化研究在中国兴起的更为深层的原因;打破学科体制对学术研究的束缚,冲破学科壁垒的限制,是其兴起的另一动因。但同时"文化研究"也存在被它所所挑战的文化工业和学术体制收编,以及丧失文学研究的审美维度的可能性。这种困境是必须警惕的。Cultural studies have been in fashion since 1990's in China, which is not only just another Westem theory's prevail in China, but also has the specific cultural background. The social reality of commercialism and secularization along with the rapid spring up of popular culture is the social foundation of its rise. The more profound cause is the contemporary literary criticism and predicament of creative writing as well as the anxiety of breaking away from it. Breaking the fetter of course system on academic research and course barrier is the other cause. However, it has the possibility that cultural studies can be assimilated by cultural industry and course system which it challenged, and that it may lose aesthetic vision of cultural studies at the same time. We must be on caution against this predicament.
