摘　　要：查尔斯.狄更斯在他的长篇小说《远大前程》中通过对男主人公皮普的"远大前程"幻灭过程的描述,揭露了资本主义社会的伪善与险恶。分析《远大前程》这部小说中的四位女性人物对皮普的性格发展的影响,对于揭示皮普远大前程的破灭与这四位女性之间的关系具有重要意义。Charles Dickens is one of the famous critical realists in England. In ＂Great Expectations＂, Dickens portrays the vanishing process of Pip＇s great expectations and exposes hypocrisy and danger of the capitalist society. Analyzing the influence of the four female characters on the development of Pip＇s personality in Great Expectations has important significance on exposing the relationship between disillusionment of Pip＇s great expectations and the four female characters（ Mrs Joe, Miss Havisham, Estella and Biddy）.
