摘　　要：本文分析了目前通用型可编程控制器（PLC）在水电站计算机监控系统中应用出现的缺陷，结合智能PLC和智能I／O的特点和性能，认为采用智能PLC和智能I／O作为水电站计算机监控系统现地控制单元（LOU）的控制元件是一个必然的趋势。The paper analyzes the current defects of general （Programmable Logic ControUer）PLC applied in computer monitoring system of hydropower station, and considers it is a necessary trend to adopt intelligent PLC and intelligent I/O as the control element for local control unit （LCU） of computer monitoring system in hydropower station, in combination with characteristics and properties of intelligent PLC and I/O.
