摘　　要：本文着重概述了邓小平对中美关系所作出的四大历史贡献:第一,20世纪70年代后期,邓小平遵循毛泽东的遗愿,推动中美两国建交,实现中美关系的完全正常化;第二,在中美建交后,邓小平继续以极大的热情和决心,克服各种困难,促进两国关系的全面发展;第三,在中美关系出现严重危机时,邓小平以无产阶级革命家的气魄和胸怀,泰然处之,力挽狂澜,拯救了濒于破裂的中美关系;第四,邓小平提出一系列关于中美关系的重要论述,极大地丰富了具有中国特色的邓小平外交战略思想,它是邓小平理论的重要组成部分。This paper summarizes Deng Xiaoping's four great historical contributions to Sino-American relations:(1) In the late 1970's,following Mao Zedong's wish,Deng Xiaoping played a key role in realizing the establishment of Sino-American diplomatic relations.(2)After the establishment of Sino-American diplomatic relations,possessing great enthusiasm and determination,Deng Xiaoping continued to promote the comprehensive development of Sino American relations.(3) When two countries reached a crisis point,Deng Xiaoping faced it with calmness and optimism,and succeeded in saving Sino-American.relations from collapse.(4)The ideas,principles and policies forward which Deng Xiaoping put have greatly enriched his strategic thinking of diplomacy,and become the important part of Deng Xiaoping theory.
