摘　　要：首先简要介绍了瘦客户机及其特点,分析了图书馆自动化系统的构成及瘦客户机应用于图书馆所具有的独特优势;研究了瘦客户机系统的部署方案。结合自身使用和管理瘦客户机系统的实际经验,指出了瘦客户机的日常使用和维护管理过程中需要注意的问题。从而使图书馆系统的数据安全性得到提高,在物理上降低了图书馆网络系统携带网络病毒的几率,有效避免了广播风暴的产生,使得网络环境得到改善。The thin-client and its features are introduced. The structure of the library automation system and the application environments and advantages of the thin-client are analyzed. The system implementation scheme is discussed in detail. Some problems deserving of our attention in utilizing and managing the system are pointed out on the basis of the authors＇ experience, so that the security of data in the library system is improved and the possibility of the library network carrying network viruses is reduced physically, thus avoiding the appearance of broadcast storms and improving the network environment.
