摘　　要：Wang Ganchang (1907-1998) was born in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province. In 1924, he graduated from the Shanghai Pudong High School. He passed the entrance examinations for Qinghua University in August 1928. Graduated from the Physics Department in June 1929, he then became assistant professor at Qinghua from 1929 to 1930.Wang Ganchang （1907--1998） was born in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province. Graduated from the Physics Department in June 1929, he then became assistant professor at Qinghua from 1929 to 1930. In his thesis On the daily change of radon gas, he was the first in China to publish on atmospheric research and radioactive experiments.
