摘　　要：针对１９９６年１２月１６日北京顺义４级地震发生的地震活动背景及其主要地震学前兆进行了研究。从地震预报角度，对北京地区中等有感地震发生前后的地震对策做了探讨。he seismicity background of the Shunyi,Beijing ML≥40 earthquakes occurred on December 16,1996 and its main seismological precursor are studied. From the view point of earthquake prediction,the countermeasures before and after the medium quakes in Beijing area are proposed.
