西风应力的纬向变化对热带海气耦合过程的影响

摘  要:本文研究了西风应力的纬向变化对热带海气耦合过程的影响问题,得到了柱函数展开后的赤道β平面上的绝热线性运动方程的零阶和二阶的解析解.结果表明,引入西风应力的纬向变化后,整体温跃层厚度降低,暖水东移之前会在接近西边界处形成堆积层,这说明西风应力的纬向变化对于Kelvin波的形成是一个必要的因素.另外,当边界冷水东移之后,新的暖水不断补充到西边界,如果西风应力的作用时间较长,暖水补充的效应减弱并在时间上滞后.同时,西风应力的纬向梯度需要达到一定的强度才能得到较为合理的结果.由于西风应力的纬向变化,在热带大洋的西边界,在西风应力的驱动下,经圈流在其作用时间内随时间增长,在这之后随时间衰减,此时在西边界处经圈流是稳定的.总之,引入西风应力的纬向变化能得到较为符合实际的解.The effects of zonal variation of west wind stress on tropical ocean-atmosphere coupling process have been studied in this paper. Analytic solutions of the zero class and the second class of the linear adiabatic equations on equator β plane expanded by cylinder function have been obtained. The results show that the termocline thickness declines. Warm water may heap near west boundary before it moves east, and after marginal cold water moves east, other warm water may be recruited to western boundary. The recruitment effect of warm water will abate and be late. In addition, only when the zonal gradient of west wind stress is strong enough, can reasonable results be obtained. Due to the zonal variation of west wind stress, at the western boundary of tropical Ocean, longitudinal flow develops along with time during the wind acting period, and then abates along with time. The results indicate that we can get solutions that accord with actual situation after zonal variation of western wind stress is taken into account.
