Microstructure and Wear Resistance of in-situ Synthesis ZrC Particulate Reinforced Metal Matrix Composite Coating by Argon Arc Cladding

摘  要:以Ni粉,Zr粉和B4C粉为原料,采用氩弧熔敷技术,在Q235钢基体材料表面上原位合成了ZrC颗粒增强镍基的复合涂层。利用X射线衍射仪、扫描电子显微镜、显微硬度计和摩擦磨损试验机对复合涂层显微组织和性能进行了观察分析。结果表明,复合涂层与基体呈良好的冶金结合,无裂纹、无气孔。复合涂层有高的硬度,从复合涂层底部到顶部显微硬度逐渐增大,在室温干滑动磨损试验条件下具有优良的耐磨性能,其耐磨性较基体提高了7倍多。Composite coating reinforced by TiC particle was produced on the surface of Q235 steel by means of a[rgon arc cladding technique with the powder of Ni, Zr and B4C. The microstrucmre and properties of the coating were investigated and analyzed with the help of scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction meter, microhardness tester, friction and wear testing machine. The results indicate that there is a good metallurgical bonding between the composite wating and the substrate.The coating is uniform and almost defect free, it has high hardness which was gradually increased from the bottom to the surface, and has excellent wear resistance under dry sliding wear test condition.
