解读《凯利帮真史》中的权力话语和叙事话语

摘　　要：结合福柯权力话语理论可以看到,彼得·凯里通过《凯利帮真史》展现了长期遭澳大利亚权威政府诋毁的内德·凯利的真实形象。彼得·凯里写作的根本目的在于帮助澳大利亚人重新找回自己的文化身份。《凯利帮真史》为了令读者信服而采用了独特的叙事策略,主要表现为虚构的十三个包裹和通篇使用的文化程度很低的语言。Drawing on the theory of ＂Power and Discourse＂by M. Foucault, this paper argues that Peter Carey＇s True History of the Kelly Gang presents the true image of Ned Kelly, who has long been slandered by the Australian authorities. It also points out that the ultimate goal of Peter Carey is to to help Australians rediscover their cultural identity. Furthermore, the paper attempts a complete analysis of the novel＇s unique narrative strategies including thirteen fabricated parcels and illiterate languages used in the whole novel which help enhance its convincing effect.
