摘　　要：针对视频点播中各种媒体格式文件不统一的问题,提出了将各种格式的媒体文件转换为ASF格式,以减少存储空间、节省网络带宽。基于Microsoft DirectShow,给出了设计相应媒体文件格式转换器的方法。实验效果表明,采用该方法,可以取得减少存储空间的效果。Aiming at the discrepancy for various meida file format in the video on demand （VOD）, it is proposed that the media files with various formats can be convertered into these with ASF format, which can reduce the storage space and save network bandwidth. The method designing for the file format converter of the corresponding media is presented based on Microsoft DirectShow. The practice shows the mothod can achieve a good effect.
