摘　　要：随着文学研究视角的不断拓展与深入,"城市"越来越受到研究者的重视,但相对上海来说,对北京的研究还比较欠缺和薄弱。20世纪中国文学进程中的"北京"经历了五个关节点,即19世纪末、1917年、1928年、1949年和1976年,它们清晰地表现出"北京"的主要内涵与多元面貌;"北京"还在雅俗互补、京味文学、传统因素的传承和政治文化四个方面,对20世纪中国文学产生了具体而深远的影响。＂City＂ is a theme that has attracted more and more attention from researchers along the constant exploitation and deepening of literature research perspectives. The studies on Beijing are comparatively less systematic and profound in regard to those on Shanghai. Generally, ＂Beijing＂ in the advances of the 20th century Chinese literature has witnessed five critical moments： the end of the 19th century, 1917, 1928, 1949, and 1976, each of which represents clearly the characteristics and multi-facets of ＂Beijing＂ in her due time. Meanwhile, ＂Beijing＂ is also featured with the eomplementality between refinement and populiarity, Beijing-flavored literature, inheritance of the traditional factors, and the political culture, all of which have a profound influence upon the 20th century Chinese literature.
