双二进制调制在高速LiNbO_3光调制器上的实验实现

摘　　要：通过实验方式在LiNbO3光调制器上实现了比特率为11.3 Gb/s的光信号的双二进制调制格式,测试并分析了相关的实验参数,包括调制前后的电眼图、光眼图,以及经过长距离光纤传输后的性能编号及比较等。实验证明,经过双二进制调制后的光信号经过长距离传输后较未调制的光信号眼图具有明显的改善。Presented is the experimental demonstration of implementation of duo-binary modulation on 10 Gb/s LiNbO3 modulators. Configuration of system and testing schemes is introduced, and some key parameters have been measured and discussed, which include the electrical and optical eyes of the signal before and after duo-binary modulation, transmission property over fiber with and without duo-binary encoding etc. Results obtained show duo-binary modulation has been achieved successfully on LiNbO3 modulators and the transmission eye with such modulation exerts much better than non-modulation eye in long-haul fiber transmission circumstance.
