摘　　要：介绍了一种新的刀具扫描体生成算法。新算法不依赖于以往扫描体生成的包络法,避免了复杂方程的求解,因而具有方法简单、编程容易、运算速度快等优点。虽然该算法是针对刀具扫描体生成开发的,但它适用于任何回转体扫描体的形成。A new generation algorithm of tool swept volume is introduced. The new algorithm doesn＇t depend upon the theory of envelopes method of formerly generating swept volume and avoids solving complex equations. So it possesses many advantages of simple process, easy programming and quick operation etc. Although this algorithm is developed for tool swept volume, it is suitable for generating swept volume of any rotation solid.
