摘　　要：首先扼要介绍了我国建筑院系中首个历史建筑保护工程本科专业的创立背景和建设过程,阐述了这一新专业的培养目标和教学计划的特色、专业课程的作用及其与建筑学专业的关系,并对专业建设中存在的矛盾与问题作了重点说明。作为文化遗产保护的根本性保障,强调了专业教育和专门人才培养及输送的重要性,并期望得到学界、业界和整个社会的关注。This paper briefly makes account of the first undergraduate specialty of conservation of historic building in domestic architectural college and department. It involves the founding and development of the new specialty; the distinctive features of training target and teaching program; the function of course and the connection with architecture curriculums. It focuses on the problems and contradictions existed in development. As the basic assurance for conservation of cultural heritage, the major matter in specialty education is to train and supply specialist talent. It is expected that educational circles, business circles and the whole society could give their concern to this new undertaking.
