摘 要:将磁光效应作为微扰,采用耦合模理论分析了磁光薄膜波导中微波静磁波对线性啁啾光脉冲的磁光Bragg衍射作用,得到了传统磁化时磁光共线和非共线作用下的衍射光脉冲复振幅的解析表达式。在静磁波频率和波数相同的前提下,通过对实际波导结构的计算表明,基于静磁表面波的磁光共线作用比基于静磁正向体波的非共线作用更易于实现光脉冲压缩;衍射光脉冲的半极大全宽度(FWHM)对失配斜率的依赖较为敏感。因此,选用磁光共线作用和优化相位失配因子的频率变化率有助于改善磁光Bragg脉冲压缩器的性能。According to the coupled-mode theory of magneto-optic (MO) effects as a perturbation, the MO Bragg diffraction effects of linearly chirped optical pulses with microwave magneto-static waves (MSWs) in MO film waveguides under a traditional magnetic field are theoretically studied and the analytic expression of complex amplitude of diffracted optical pulses in collinear and noncollinear interaction between MSWs and optical pulses is presented respectively. It is shown by our calculation of the practical waveguide structure that: The efficiency of optical pulse compression is much larger in the collinear interaction than the case in the noncollinear interaction under the condition of the same MSW frequency and wavenumber; the full-width-at-half-maximum (FWHM) of diffracted optical pulses is dependent on the frequency distribution of phase-mismatching factors. Thus, the performance of MO Bragg compressor can be optimized by choosing MO colline- ar interaction and controlling the frequency distribution of phase-mismatching factors.
