摘　　要：港口的货物和集装箱吞吐量直接反映着港口城市的发展和港口规模的变化。吞吐量预测一直是港口总体布局规划的重要前期工作。文中采用三次指数平滑预测方法对太仓港2015年前的吞吐量进行了预测,并在此基础上对太仓港进一步发展提出了建议。Port cargo and container throughput of the port city a direct reflection of the development and changes in the size of the port. Forecast throughput of the overall layout of the port has been an important pre-planning work. In this paper, three methods of exponential smoothing forecasts on the Taicang Port＇s handling capacity by 2015 is predicted, On the basis of which the author of the further development of Taicang Port suggested.
