摘 要:20世纪出现了两大语言学流派:以布龙菲尔德为代表的美国结构主义语法和以乔姆斯基为代表的转换生成语法。本文比较了这两种语法在产生背景、发展阶段、哲学与心理学基础、语言观、研究目标、研究对象与方法及语言习得理论等方面的差异,同时也论述了其在语言教学中的应用。通过比较,有利于更好地把握这两种语法的本质,以便更好地将其应用于语言教学实践。The 20th century has witnessed two influential schools of linguistics, Structural Grammar represented by Bloomfield and TG Grammar proposed by Chomsky. The two grammars are different in many aspects, such as the background, developmental stages, philosophical and psychological bases, views of language, research aims, research objects and methodologies, and theories of language acquisition. Their application to the language teaching is also briefly discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of the two grammars are clearly displayed, so as to master the nature of each grammar in order to make full use of the theories of linguistics to the practice of the language teaching.
