摘　　要：保障和改善西部地区农村信息服务水平是新农村建设的重要突破口,是解决"三农"问题的有效途径。针对西部地区农村信息服务的基本情况,对我国西部地区农村信息服务存在的问题进行了分析,论述了西部地区在现阶段开展农村信息服务工作的对策。Safeguarding and improving rural information service is an important breakthrough point in new countryside construetion and an effective pathway to solve the problem of ＂Agriculture, countryside and farmers＂ in the western regions. The paper puts forward the countermeasures to enhance rural information service level based on analyzing the current situation and problems in rural information service in the western regions.
