摘　　要：The leaves and stems of Quercus variabilis Blume afforded a new cycloartane nortriterpenoid, 3α-acetyloxy-4α, 14α-dimethyl- 9β, 19-eycloergost-24-oic acid （1）, along with five known compounds （2-6）.
