摘 要:通过热处理多聚磷酸铵与三聚氰胺的混合物,获得热稳定性较高(起始失重温度达250℃以上)和吸湿性较低的膨胀型阻燃剂MPPA.红外光谱和其它有关数据分析表明,MPPA是多聚磷酸的铵和三聚氰胺盐与三聚氰胺的混合物.燃烧试验表明,MPPA与季戊四醇复配后对聚丙烯的阻燃作用显著增强,这是因为季戊四醇的加入有助于阻燃聚丙烯在受热燃烧时形成膨胀炭的结果。An intumescent flame retardant MPPA based on ammonium polyphosphate(APP)was prepared by heat treatment of APP with melamine. It has higher thermostability (with higher than 250 ℃ of starting mass loss temperature) and lower moisture absorption. The results of infrared spectral analysis and other relevant data indicate that the MPPA is a mixture of ammonium and melamine salts of polyphosphoric acid and melamine. Burning testings show that the flame retardation on polypropylene is greatly increased as MPPA formulated with an appropriate amount of pentaerythritol, and this may be attributed to the charring of pentaerythritol as the flame retardant materials undergo heating and burning.
