摘　　要：第三代移动通信系统是通信界正在讨论的热点问题,包括第三代移动通信系统的标准制定、过渡方式、研究方法和技术特点等,这些问题涉及到技术、经济、社会、政治等方面,这里主要从市场角度兼从技术角度来讨论第三代移动通信系统.The third generation mobile communication systems are generally dealt with as a hot topic, which involves the following aspects: technology, economy and politics. From the market and technology point of view, the standard establishment, transition modes and research methods of the third generation mobile communication systems are discussed in this paper.
