摘　　要：指出RMON技术在现代TCP/IP网络管理中,无法对交换机的每一个点对点端口的流量进行管理,无法适应VLAN流量的监控,无法对QoS分类定义进行管理,无法对链路聚合情况进行实时监控等缺陷,分析了导致这些缺陷存在的根本原因。在此基础上,重点研究了关键技术SMON的原理及具体实现方法,提出了从基于共享式网络的RMON管理技术升级到基于交换式网络的SMON管理技术的具体方案。This paper points in modem TCP/IP network, monitor the situation of link it focuses on the principles RMON technology based on out that RMON technology cannot provide the management for each point-to-point switch port traffic cannot adapt to monitor VLAN traffic, cannot manage the classified definition of QoS, and cannot aggregation in real time. Then it gives the analysis of the root causes of these defects. On this basis, and specific realization methods of the SMON and provides the specific upgrade program from the sharing network to the SMON technology based on switched network.
