摘　　要：在商品经济迅速发展的大背景下,大众阅读正发生着深刻的变化,并在一定程度上表现为大众阅读危机。而现代书评由于具有信息性、可读性、教育性与引导性等功能,其对于大众阅读的积极转向有着重要的作用。通过分析大众阅读的新特点,提出了为大众阅读服务的发展图书馆书评事业的建议。On the background of the rapid development of the commodity economy, the mass reading is taking profound changes and shows as the mass reading crisis to a certain extent. And the modem book review, which possesses the functions of the informational, readability, edutainment, and directiveness, etc., plays an important role in the active direction-changing of the mass reading. Through analyzing the new features of the mass reading, this paper puts forward some suggestions on developing library＇ s book review serving the mass reading.
