摘　　要：提出了一种改进的归并排序算法。采用非递归方法,对记录集从头至尾顺序地进行扫描,并将相邻的两个有序序列合并成一个整体。该算法较2路归并排序算法更简单,更易理解,同时也取消了栈空间。An improved sort--by--merging algorithm is proposed,and by adopting non--recursive method,the record set is scanned from the beginning to the end,in which the two neighboring ordered sequences qre merged into one unity. This algorithm is easier and more comprehensible than the 2 way sort--by--merging algorithm,and meanwhile the stack space is eliminated.
