摘　　要：出版史的研究方法应该提倡五点:一、要耐得寂寞;二、要有细功夫;三、所有材料都要仔细推敲。四、必须设法见到原书、书目或原文;五、要从个案做起。通过有关商务印书馆和中华书局的一则"定评"可以看出材料推敲的重要性。The research methods of publishing history should be promoted from five points: First,to be patient;Second,efforts should be dissective;Third,all materials must stand up to close scrutiny;Fourth,we must try to see the original book,bibliography or original thesis;Fifth,case studies should start from the beginning;Through checking a piece of 'General Recognized Comments' on Commercial Press and Zhonghua Book Store,we can see the importance of research methods.
