无边界管理与大学管理创新

摘　　要：无边界管理强调的是边界的可渗透性,即把组织的边界不再当作传统意义上的"墙"而看作类似于生物有机体中的"隔膜",信息、资源、构想及能量应能快捷便利地穿越组织的"隔膜",使组织整体功能的发挥远远超过各个组成部分的功能。无边界管理不是对边界的绝对否定,它强调速度、弹性、整合和创新,其技术基础是计算机网络化。作为最先从企业管理中产生的"无边界管理"在大学管理中具有很强的适用性。大学可以在垂直无边界、水平无边界、外部无边界、地理无边界等理念指导下进行管理创新。No-boundary management emphasizes the penetrability between the boundaries, namely,the boundary of the organization is regarded as the dissepiment of biological organism instead of the traditionally considered wall. So the information, resources, ideas and power can cross the dissepiment quickly and conveniently, results in to make the integrated function much more stronger than each part. No-boundary management is not the absolute negation of boundary, but emphasizes the speed, flexibility, conformity and innovation,with the computer network as its technical foundation. Originally generated from enterprise man- agement, no-boundary management has good applicability in university management. Universities can carry on management innovation under the guidance of the ideas such as vertical noboundary, horizontal no-boundary, external no-boundary and geographical no-boundary.
