海南再次发现越南烙铁头Ovophis tonkinensis

摘　　要：2008年4月28日,于海南吊罗山采集到烙铁头蛇属蛇类一条,经鉴定为越南烙铁头(有鳞目Squamata:蝰科Viperidae),其主要鉴别特征为第2枚上唇鳞小而不入颊窝、尾下鳞单枚未分化、腹鳞数目较少.The first record of Ovophis tonkinensis from Hainan Island was published by David （1995） and the specimen was described in David （2001）. A second specimen of Ovophis tonkinensis was collected in Diaoluoshan Nature Reserve, Hainan on 28th April, 2008, and its scalation and habitat are described in this paper. According to the diagnostic characters, especially the unique combination of single, undivided .subcaudal plates, a short second supralabial not bordering the loreal tip, and a low number of ventral plates,＇ it ,is referable to the species Ovophis tonkinensis （Bourret ,1934）.
