Effects of Different Levels of Natural Plant Extracts on Peripheral Blood Antioxidant Capacity in Meat-type Ducks

摘  要:用单因子试验设计,研究了不同添加水平天然植物提取物对肉鸭外周血抗氧化能力的影响。选择健康、体重相近(659.05±8.04g)的14日龄天府肉鸭120只(公母各半),随机分为5个处理(4个试验组和1个对照组),每个处理4个重复,每个重复6只鸭(公母各半)。基础日粮中分别添加37.5、75、150和225mg/kg植物提取物即为相应的试验日粮,对照组饲喂基础日粮。基础日粮为玉米-豆粕型日粮(2.9McalME/kg,18%CP)。试验期28d。结果表明:①植物提取物可提高肉鸭机体抗氧化能力。与对照组相比,日粮中添加150mg/kg植物提取物分别显著(P<0.05)提高CAT25.97%、SOD75.50%、GSH-Px22.59%、T-AOC40.70%,极显著降低MDA52.60%(P<0.01)。②血清CAT、SOD、GSH-Px、T-AOC和MDA均与植物提取物添加剂量呈显著或极显著二次曲线关系(P<0.05或P<0.01)。③综合考虑各指标认为,植物提取物提高肉鸭机体抗氧化能力的适宜添加剂量为150mg/kg。结果表明,植物提取物可显著提高肉鸭机体抗氧化能力,且存在剂量效应关系。A one-factor experiment was designed to investigate the effects of graded levels of dietary inclusion of plant extracts on peripheral blood antioxidant capacity in meat-type ducks. 120 healthy 14-day-old Tian-Fu meat-type ducks weighing 659.05 ±8.04 g with similar eonsangninity were chosen and allotted randomly to 5 treatments,4 replicates in each treatment and 6 ducks per replicate (3 males and 3 females). The basal experimental diet was corn and soya bean meal containing 2.9 Mcal ME/kg and 18% CP. Ducks were fed basal diet, basal diet + 37.5 mg/kg, basal diet + 75 mg/ kg,basal diet + 150 mg/kg,basal diet + 225 mg/kg plant extracts respectively. The experiment lasted for 28 d. The results showed that (1) Plant extracts could improve the antioxidant capacity of ducks. Compared with the control group, dietary supplementation with 150 mg/kg plant extracts significantly(P 〈 0.05 )increased CAT, SOD, GSH-Px and T-AOC by 25.97% ,75.50% ,22.59% and 40.70% respectively, and significantly decreased MDA by 52.60% ( P 〈 0. 01 ). (2) The significant quadric curve correlation between serum CAT, SOD, GSH-Px, T-AOC, MDA levels and plant extracts supplementation levels were found (P 〈 0.05 or P 〈 0.01 ). (3)After comprehensive consideration of each parameter, the optimum dietary supplementation level of plant extracts to increase the antioxidant capacity of meat-type ducks was 150 mg/kg. These results indicated that plant extracts could significantly increase antioxidant capacity of ducks, which was dosage-dependent.
