摘　　要：神经心理学作为神经病学和心理学的一门新兴交叉边缘学科,在世界范围内的发展已有近半个世纪的历史。但是将神经心理学应用于成年监护制度领域来评估欠缺行为能力成年人的行为能力还是一个较新的现象,它的应用有利于对欠缺行为能力成年人行为能力的准确判定。美国在这方面的研究走在了世界的前列,其研究与实践对于完善我国的成年监护制度具有重要的借鉴作用。Neuropsychology, as a new cross-disciplinary subject composed by neurology and psychology, has been developing for half a century. But it is still a relatively new phenomenon to apply the neuropsychology in assessing the capacity of the adult incapacities in the area of adult guardianship system. It would be useful to judge the exact capacity of the incapacitated adults. The researches in this area in the United States are the forefront of the world. Its research and practice are an important reference to the improvement of adult guardianship system in China.
