摘　　要：西文图书编目是一项规范化程度很高的工作,由于每个图书馆的西文图书编目工作又有着各自的具体细则与要求,因而又必须体现出本地化特点。文章结合MELINETS二版系统的运用,对西文图书编目本地化处理的重要环节进行细致梳理,力求建立一个具有本地化特点的高质量的西文图书目录体系。参考文献3。The work of western language books cataloging is of high normalization. With different specific rules and requirements, western language books cataloging work of each library must show the localization characteristics. Combining the application of MELINETS Ⅱ system, this paper carefully cards the important links of the localization treatment for western language books cataloging and tries to establish a high level cataloguing system with localization characteristics. 3 refs.
