摘　　要：简要介绍了法桐的特点、在郑州市的栽植历史,分析了法桐在郑州城市环境绿化特色以及郑州市民的法桐情结之所在,探讨了法桐作为郑州市市树的意义与作用。Platanus acerifolia is choosed as the city tree of Zhengzhou. The planting history and the cultivation character isties of Platanus spp. in Zhengzhou were discussed in the paper. The excellent growing state of the tree had already at- tracted the citizens and the guests of the city. The paper predicted the future of the tree in the city.
