摘　　要：Under the shadow of the world crisis,the aviation industry has been seriously affected,some airlines have gone bankrupt,reduced their flight service,cut back costs,or even sold their airplanes.However,some are still confident enough to explore new potential opportunities. The first Continental Airlines(CO) flight from Shanghai to New York was launched on March 26,which is also the first ever daily nonstop service connecting these two important,world-class business and financial centers.For the sixth consecutive year,FORTUNE magazine named Continental the World's Most Admired Airline in its 2009 list of the World's Most Admired Companies.China's Foreign Trade magazine interviewed Mr.Walter B.Dias, Managing Director of Greater China & Southeast Asia for Continental Airlines,who shared with us his successful managing experience at CO and his perspective on the aviation industry in 2009,as well as his confidence in the Chinese market.Under the shadow of the world crisis, the aviation industry has been seriously affected, some airlines have gone bankrupt, reduced their flight service, cut back costs, or even sold their airplanes. However, some are still confident enough to explore new potential opportunities.
