摘　　要：扼要介绍了美国制定和修订环境空气质量标准的程序及其关键步骤,包括编制基准文件和工作报告、进行技术分析、提出建议标准与颁布最终标准等,分析了其特点,并就我国环境质量标准的制定和修订提出了若干建议。The process of establishing and revising ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) in the U. S. , composed of a series of steps such as preparation of criteria document and staff paper. technical analysis, proposition and promulgation of standards, is discussed. Time and cost needed by the process is also noted.
