摘 要:基于Chirp扩频技术的超宽带(UWB)通信系统目前有两种调制方式:二进制正交键控(Binary Orthogonal Keying,BOK)调制和直接调制(Direct Modulation,DM),基于BOK调制的超宽带系统实现简单,可靠性高,但信息传输速率不高。本文采用了一种改进的BOK调制方法———四进制双正交键控(Quaternary Bi-Orthogonal Keying,QBOK),解决了BOK调制时一个Chirp波形只携带1比特信息而导致信息传输速率较慢的问题。本文论证了QBOK算法的可行性,并且在现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)硬件平台上实现了基于QBOK调制的ChirpUWB系统,实验结果表明,相比BOK来说,基于QBOK调制的ChirpUWB系统可以使信息传输速率提高一倍。The Chirp spectrum spreading based ultra-wideband ( UWB ) communication system has two basic modulation categories Binary Orthogonal Keying (BOK) and Direct Modulation (DM). BOK method based UWB communication system is simply implemented and high reliability while the bit rate is not higher. In this paper, we adopt an improved modulation method based BOK Quaternary Bi-Orthogonal Keying ( QBOK ), and resolve the problem that a Chirp waveform only carries one bit information leading to a slower bit rate in BOK system. This article demonstrates the feasibility of algorithm based QBOK, and we implement the Chirp UWB system on the Field Programmable Gate Array ( FPGA ) hardware platform. The experimental results show that the UWB system based on QBOK system can provide double bit rate than BOK.
