摘　　要：刘少奇的《论共产党员的修养》强调把思想建设放在党建工作的第一位,在思想建设中,又强调每个共产党员自身的思想修养,系统地阐释了党员思想修养的必要性、具体内容、途径和方法。这对加强新时期党的建设具有很强的理论和现实意义。How to be a Communist wrtten by Liu Shaoqi is the typical Marxist theroetic works. It is stressed that the ideological construction is the first place in the course of the Party building. Every Party member should conduct the self-cultivation in ideology and the necessity of self-cultivation of ideology systematically in the daily life and work. It is of rich content in details, ways and means how to be a communist Party member. This is of the real and theoretic significance to strenghten the construction of the Communist Party in the new period.
