摘　　要：现行高校院(系)统战工作管理体制存在的问题,较大地束缚了新形势下高校院(系)统战工作作用的巨大发挥,必须不断探索高校统战工作新机制,创新工作思路,建立健全工作制度,丰富工作方法,以工作机制的创新推动统战工作实践的突破。In the past 30 years＇ reform and opening-up, China has changed greatly. Under the new situation, a higher demand is put forwards for the development of the united front work of the universities＇colleges （departments）. To have a good development of the united front work of the universities＇ colleges （departments）, one must have an overall view and a clear understanding of the new situation in order to have a major breakthrough. This paper discusses the characteristics of the united front work under the new situation and the significance of the development of the united front work, and puts forwards some problems that exist in the united front work and some suggestions.
