摘　　要：A new phenolic lactone, named phellolactone （1） was isolated from the bark of Phellodendron chinense Schneid and its structure was elucidated by means of extensively spectroscopic methods, including IR, UV, HRESI-MS and NMR techniques. ？2009 Yah Ping Shi.
