摘　　要：加快推进湘南大开发是湖南区域经济发展的重要战略,意义十分重大。从湘南角度来看,湘南大开发是湘南三市本身发展的必然选择;从全省角度来看,湘南大开发是湖南参与泛珠三角合作、加速融入粤港澳、实现国际化的必然要求;从全国角度来看,湘南大开发是湖南打造中国重要的城市群和中国新的经济增长极的必然趋势。To accelerate the grand development of the southern areas of Hunan is an important strategy that is of great significance to the regional economical development of Hunan. Viewed from the stand of south Hunan districts, the grand development of the southern areas of Hunan is a must for the development of the three southern cities in Hunan. From the stand of the whole province, it is a must for Hunan＇ s joining the pan-Zhujiang River Delta cooperation, for Hunan＇ s merging with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Marco, an inevitable road for Hunan to walk into the international community. From the stand of the whole country, the grand development of the southern areas of Hunan is crucial for Hunan to build its city groups that are of important role in China and create a new economical growth pole in China.
