摘　　要：精明增长是当前美国等西方国家在城市可持续发展及空间协调管理等方面的研究热点之一。文章通过土地低消耗的视角来探析精明增长在中国的适用性,从增长总量、强度、循环、效益等方面构建了理论框架,并设计了对应的测度指标。Smart growth is becoming an increasing concern in research of urban spatial harmony and sustainable development in the U. S. and others Western nations nowadays. This paper analyzes application prospect of smart growth in China based on economical utilization of land resources and establishes theoretical framework of urban smart growth in which four leading components comprised of urban growth capacity, urban growth intensity, urban growth circulation and urban growth efficiency are introduced and a group of indicators are designed.
