爱之深 痛之切——析沈从文小说中砍头描写的批判意味

摘　　要：沈从文通过《边城》等作品塑造了诗画般的"湘西世界",大力歌颂中华民族积淀的原始文明和自然文化,极力追求"一种古朴宁静的乡村文化景观"。在他精心打造"湘西世界"这个世外桃源时,又似乎有意识地在这里安排了一场又一场的悲剧和灾难,并且费尽心思地花大量的笔墨描写"砍头"这种残忍的刑罚。这表明作家虽然非常向往那种田园牧歌式的生活,但是他也深深感受到这种与世隔绝的生活方式所暗藏的危机,于是通过描写"砍头"这种残忍的刑罚来表达自己心中的忧虑,借此来批判"湘西世界"存在的一些缺陷。Shen Congwen describes a poem-and-picture-like Xiangxi in the works such as Border Town and eulogizes the primitive civilization and the natural culture of Chinese nations,pursuing ＂one kind of plain tranquil village cultural landscape＂ vigorously.When he makes ＂the western Hunan＂ as a paradise,he as if consciously has arranged a series of tragedies and disasters here,and uses massive words to describe ＂behead＂,a kind of cruel penalty.It indicates that the writer,although yearning for that kind of countryside madrigal-like life,deeply feels the crisis which is hidden in this secluded life style.Therefore he expresses his anxiety through describing this kind of cruel penalty to criticize the flaws in ＂the western Hunan＂.
