摘　　要：介绍MHEG标准的基本概念和主要内容,重点介绍采用MHEG-5标准的互动电视系统的工作原理、系统逻辑组成和内置MHEG-5中间件的机顶盒的软件结构,并研究了MHEG-5支持的典型的互动电视应用。This paper introduces the basic conception and main contains of MHEG standards, mainly focuses on the system diagram and principles of digital interactive TV based on MHEG - 5, and also gives the software system structure of the set top box which contains the MHEG -5 middleware. Finally the paper researches the typical applications MHEG- 5 supported.
