正确认识自助借还书系统

摘　　要：自助借还书系统是指由读者自行办理借还馆内图书资料手续的自动化工作系统。"节约人力成本"、"不用排队"是对其作用的两种错误认识。该系统的使用能有效延长图书馆的借还书时间;;降低流通工作人员的劳动强度。但也存在拒借拒还、识别读者违规行为的功能有限、工作效率受制于读者使用系统的熟练程度等不足。Self-help borrowing and returning books system is a self-service mode that allows readers to use the machine to borrow or return books of the library. There are two misunderstandings about its functions： cut down the cost of human and not waiting in line. If a library uses self-help borrowing and returning books system, the time in borrowing and returning books will be extended, and the work stress of library staff will be lowered. But there are some problems, refusing service, not recognizing the reader＇s illegal actions, and its work efficiency is restricted by the reader＇s operative skills.
