摘  要:论述了地块波浪运动的概念、形成机制及其传播和效应,并给出了简单的数学模型,最后指出了地块波浪的两个极重要的特性(周期性和翘倾性)及实践意义。Crustal structures are characterized by the wavy mosaic structures. With their own structural boundaries serving as fulcrum belts, all the blocks embedded in the stuctural network, large or small, undulate periodically, representing lateral, up and down or upwarping and downwarping movements. Such wavy undulation results from the crustal stress wave which is brought about by the earth ,s pulsation of contraction and expansion and the change of the earth ,s rotational rate caused by the former. Generally speaking, one block on the upwarping side of the neibouring block usually subsides, and the other on the downwarping side of the same block often uplifts. Such vibration of numerous blocks in the crust is much more like wave movement with a characteristic that latter wave pushes the former, thus consequently forming mighty crustal waves. It is just with the help of the block ,s undulation that the crustal stress wave is capable of passing on. The structures of semigraben semihorst, or graben horst in the crust were created as a result of block wavy movement to form basin mountain ridge landeforms. Two major characteristics of the biock ,s wavy movement are as follwings: one is multiperiodic activity, the other is the repeated up and down warping of the same block. which are of much significance in studying sedimentary deposits and revealng the secrets of earthquakes.
