摘　　要：Althusser’s "philosophical reading" of Marx’s Capital could not answer the question "how knowledge grasp real structure of society".From the standpoint of meaning theory,the root of this predicament lied in three levels.The first level is Althusser’s problematic of his reading,where the lack of sense and the confusion of references made him missing the point when he treated the question of "what’s the object of capital".The second level,which is the basis of the first,is his trying to solve the problem of "what’s the intrinsic mechanism for knowledge to grasp the real structure of society",in which he fell into a more rigorous position because of the lack of "author".The lack of "author" came out of the third level which was composed by Althusser’s basic standpoint and basic method,in which we can find the overstepping of reference and the splitting of reference.Althusser's 'philosophical reading' of Marx's Capital could not answer the question 'how knowledge grasp real structure of society'.From the standpoint of meaning theory,the root of this predicament lied in three levels.The first level is Althusser's problematic of his reading,where the lack of sense and the confusion of references made him missing the point when he treated the question of 'what's the object of capital'.The second level,which is the basis of the first,is his trying to solve the problem of 'what's the intrinsic mechanism for knowledge to grasp the real structure of society',in which he fell into a more rigorous position because of the lack of 'author'.The lack of 'author' came out of the third level which was composed by Althusser's basic standpoint and basic method,in which we can find the overstepping of reference and the splitting of reference.
